Finding a therapist is hard, especially when 99% of these profiles sound exactly the same. So, let's cut to the chase. I work with men who are struggling with their life the way it is, who are ready to make changes, and get back to living. Whether you're depressed, stressed, angry, constantly fighting, shutting down, or overwhelmed - you're stuck, and I can help. I offer a free initial call so we can work out what's going on, and exactly how I think we can make an impact - both on an immediate basis, and over the long-term. Our first goal: to give you the tools you need to stop feeling stuck, and start moving forward. I want you to walk out of our first session feeling confident you know what you can do to start helping yourself now. As we work together, we'll take a look at the patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that caused those problems in the first place, and start to explore your path forward so you can get back to being the man and partner you want to be. I do great work with Men because I know Men's issues. I know what it's like to feel stuck, and how great it feels to get back to your life, self-esteem, and full potential. Ignoring the problem won't make it go away, so shoot me an email and let's get started. I offer free consultations and online scheduling.

Fort Collins, CO

Hello! I’m a licensed psychologist who seeks to not just help manage symptoms, but to promote wellness. I am experienced in treating a range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, attachment concerns, caretaker stress, chronic pain, binge eating, identity development, career exploration, and life transitions. Having worked with adult clients from a variety of backgrounds, I aim to incorporate a culturally sensitive lens throughout my practice. In sessions, my approach implements behavioral interventions alongside empowerment, exploration of self, and establishing meaning in life. My style is integrative and flexible. I primarily work from a psychodynamic and existential lens to connect past traumas to current patterns, address underlying needs, and foster hope. Through adding in ACT and DBT behavioral interventions, we can better manage symptoms and move towards goals. This multifaceted approach allows client-driven movement between self-exploration, emotional processing, and challenge.

My practice focuses on helping clients with relationship issues, infidelity, and financial therapy. If you are struggling to find your place on campus and feel like an outsider and an imposter, I've been there, and I can help you build stronger connections with those around you and with your own self! My speciality area is helping people better understand their relationship to money and class and understand how their history and feelings around money impact their everyday life on campus and their relationships. If this sounds like you, set up a consultation through my website below. In addition to standard psychotherapy sessions, I offer long therapy sessions called intensives if you have trouble making time for regularly scheduled therapy.

Finding a therapist can feel overwhelming, but with the right one by your side, true healing can begin. As a clinical social worker specializing in individual psychotherapy and neurodiversity-affirming care, my goal is to make that process feel a little less daunting by offering a collaborative, supportive space where you can show up as you are. My work centers on older adolescents and adults navigating mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression, as well as those moving through life transitions, grief, loss, or anticipated loss. As a queer clinician, providing identity-affirming care is also central to my practice, particularly for those exploring sexuality and gender, or who face systemic barriers to self-expression and self-actualization. If you choose to work together and the connection feels right, I'm confident we can do meaningful work. My approach is strengths-based, relational, and grounded in a person-in-environment perspective, which means I consider you within the greater context of your life, your relationships, and the systems that shape your daily experience. All of my work is rooted in a social justice framework, and a deep belief in every person's inherent dignity and worth. Together, we'll explore the events and relationships — both past and present — that inform how you move through the world, building deeper self-understanding and self-compassion along the way. You can expect a warm, accepting, and responsive environment where the therapeutic approach is tailored to your unique needs and preferences. That often means blending meaningful self-reflection with a growing toolkit of practical skills and techniques you can carry with you outside of our sessions. Before becoming a therapist, nearly a decade was spent working as a professional musician, an experience that instilled a deep appreciation for the courage and vulnerability that authentic self-expression requires. Sitting with our emotions, sharing them, and exploring them can feel scary, but it can also be genuinely beautiful, opening doors to connection and self-discovery that might otherwise stay closed. At my core, connecting with people has always been what drives me. That's why authentic curiosity, empathy, and an open mind are things I bring to every interaction. My education, lived experiences, and professional background all converge in service of one goal: creating a space where you can work toward better understanding yourself and expressing who you truly are. Outside of the therapy room, you'll find me singing, traveling, or cooking and baking for the people I love. Shared meals with friends and family are something I treasure deeply, as are deep belly laughs and adventures with my husband and our dog, Bagel.

My counseling skills and qualifications cover a wide variety of areas but are particularly well suited for adults who want to become more empowered and for those who struggle with digital media overuse including things like gaming, porn, social media, gambling, sports betting, shopping, and internet addiction. As your therapist my goal is to help you improve your relationships, starting with the most important relationship of all the one you have with yourself. Personal empowerment covers many areas of mental wellness including managing anxiety, letting go of people-pleasing and codependency traits, as well as integrating more boundaries, assertiveness, and authenticity into your life. Many of my clients have accomplished several their life goals but struggle to feel connected in their relationships or live a balanced life. I love helping people recognize their strengths as well as guiding them to understand what is getting in their way of living the life that they want. Therapy with me is insight-oriented and skills-based. I am intentional in balancing my role as both someone who provides support and someone who challenges you to grow. I believe therapy is not just helpful for those experiencing unwanted psychiatric symptoms, but also for people who have the desire to become the best version of themselves. An overarching theme in my work is supporting clients to become more empowered by discovering ways they can take more ownership of their lives. Therapy can be an exciting place to learn more about yourself and help you engage with the world in new ways, which in turn has the potential to not only benefit your life, but also the lives of the people you care the most about. If this resonates with you, reach out to set up a free consultation to see if we would be a good fit working together. I look forward to connecting with you soon!

Hi, I’m Rachel, but you can call me Ray! I am primarily a relationship therapist who works with college students, graduate students, and young adults in their 20s and 30s who are navigating relationships, anxiety, OCD, friendships, and all of the uncertainty that can come with figuring out adulthood. Maybe you’re doing well on paper, but internally you’re overthinking everything. You might replay conversations, reread texts, worry that someone is upset with you, need reassurance that your relationship is okay, or wonder if you’re “too much.” Or maybe you’re on the other side. You care deeply about people but pull away when relationships get too close, shut down during conflict, struggle to ask for help, or worry that being in a relationship means losing your independence. These are some of the relationship and attachment patterns I specialize in helping young adults understand. I also work with OCD and relationship OCD (ROCD), including the endless “what if?” questions that can make it difficult to trust yourself. You might find yourself analyzing whether you chose the right relationship, checking how you feel, looking for certainty, comparing, researching, replaying situations, or repeatedly asking other people what they think. And relationships aren’t just romantic. Friendships can be some of the most important and sometimes most painful relationships during college and young adulthood. Therapy can be a place to talk about friendship breakups, feeling left out, outgrowing friendships, struggling to find your people, people-pleasing, boundaries, loneliness, or wondering where you stand with someone. College and young adulthood can also bring questions about identity, career, family relationships, moving away from home, dating, breakups, changing friendships, perfectionism, and what you actually want your life to look like. You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. Figuring some of it out can be part of the work. My approach is relational, attachment-based, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I integrate attachment theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic approaches, neuroscience, and ERP-informed work for OCD. Rather than only focusing on symptoms, I want to help you understand where your patterns came from, what they may be trying to protect you from, and whether they are still working for you today. My goal is to help you build relationships where you can care deeply about other people without losing yourself, tolerate uncertainty without needing to solve everything immediately, communicate what you need, set boundaries, and feel more secure in who you are. In addition to individual therapy, I work with dating and committed couples, particularly couples navigating attachment patterns and the pursuer-withdrawer cycle. I also offer non-religious premarital therapy for couples who want to intentionally prepare for marriage and have conversations about communication, family, finances, intimacy, values, and their future together. I offer in-person therapy in the Denver and Lakewood area and virtual therapy throughout Colorado.

Clinical Social Work/Therapist

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with six years of experience, my work is dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and young adults from all backgrounds navigate life's challenges. Whether you're working through trauma, a mental health diagnosis, emotional dysregulation, behavioral challenges, family or social conflict, or a difficult life transition, you don't have to face it alone. My specialties include PTSD and trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, mood disorders, personality disorders, and adjustment disorders. Beyond diagnosis, I also support patients with stress management, self-esteem, social skills, coping skill development, and crisis intervention. Wherever you are in your journey, my goal is to be a compassionate, trustworthy partner who meets you exactly where you are, because you deserve to feel heard, empowered, and confident in your growth. Collaborative, trauma-informed, and strengths-based care is at the heart of everything I do. Each of our sessions is built on authenticity and compassion, and I tailor my approach to your unique situation and needs so that what we work on together feels meaningful and relevant to your life. You can expect a space that is nonjudgmental and genuinely supportive. Using an integrated therapeutic approach, we'll work through life's hardships in a way that honors your experiences and builds on your existing strengths. The goal is for you to feel understood, capable, and empowered to create lasting, meaningful change. My path to this work was shaped by a deeply personal experience during graduate school, where I encountered hardship, judgment, and misunderstanding from professional counselors based on my own identities. Rather than diminish my passion, that experience ignited it, clarifying exactly the kind of therapist I wanted to be: one who shows up with full authenticity and compassion for every person who walks through the door. Working with children, adolescents, and young adults has been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. These times taught me that even one person, with genuine positivity and empathy, can make a meaningful difference for someone who has never had that kind of relationship before. This belief grounds my work every day. I bring an open-minded perspective to each session because I believe you hold the key to overcoming the challenges you've faced. My role is to walk alongside you as you find it. Outside of sessions, you'll find me coloring, tackling puzzles, playing board games, or heading outdoors for an adventure. Staying active and creative keeps me grounded, and I bring that same energy and curiosity into the care I provide.

Highlands Ranch, CO

Specializing in LGBTQ+ affirming care, relationships, neurodivergence, addiction and recovery, anxiety, depression, identity, and life transitions, I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and people in diverse relationship structures. My Mindfulness-based, person-centered approach means I focus on patients of all backgrounds, with particular attention to the LGBTQ+ community and to those who want to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and create meaningful change. Everyone has the capacity for growth and change, and I see therapy as a partnership in that process. I'd be honored to walk alongside you as you build greater understanding, connection, and a life that feels more authentically yours. Therapy isn't about fixing what's broken — it's about recognizing your strengths and finding new ways to move through life and relationships. I bring a mindful, compassionate, and collaborative approach to that work, creating a warm, genuine, and nonjudgmental environment for you to do it in. Drawing from Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based treatments, I help you get there in a way that's down-to-earth and tailored to your unique needs, experiences, and goals. Before becoming a therapist, I earned a PhD in chemistry and built a career spanning science, academia, and public service. The privilege of sharing in the growth journeys of students and colleagues ultimately inspired my own transition into therapy, and I bring that same curiosity, compassion, and respect for each person's journey into the therapy room. Outside the therapy room, I enjoy painting, spending time with my dogs, exploring Colorado, and keeping up a mindfulness and meditation practice. I’m also always up for discovering a great movie or getting outdoors.

As a trauma-informed therapist, my work centers on identity, healing, and relational transformation for adults working to reclaim clarity, autonomy, and emotional wellness. Whether you're navigating coercive relationships, trauma, identity loss, or a major life transition, this is a space where your experiences are genuinely understood and validated. Many of the people I work with are seeking emotional safety, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of self after experiencing emotionally harmful dynamics, including divorce, narcissistic abuse, domestic violence, cult experiences, or religious and spiritual trauma. These are experiences that can be difficult to put into words, and you deserve a therapist who not only understands them but can help you make sense of what you've been through. At the heart of my approach is a deep belief in our innate human need to be authentic and free. That belief shapes how I show up for you, as a supportive, grounding presence dedicated to helping you reclaim your life, your identity, and your autonomy. Collaboration, curiosity, and a deep respect for your autonomy shape the way I work with you. Every session is built on a foundation of trust and honesty, in a space that is warm, nonjudgmental, and genuinely supportive of wherever you are in your journey. Using relational and trauma-informed approaches, we'll work together to help you better understand and reconnect with yourself, process painful experiences, and build healthier patterns in your relationships and daily life. I tailor everything to your unique needs and goals, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all framework. What matters most is that you feel genuinely seen, especially in experiences that others may not fully understand. Coercive control, emotional abuse, and relational trauma are areas I'm particularly drawn to and well-versed in. For many people, simply feeling validated in these experiences is a meaningful first step. My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by both personal and professional experiences that showed me, firsthand, how profoundly relationships and social influence shape our emotional well-being and sense of self. These experiences didn't just inform my clinical focus — they deepened my commitment to creating a therapeutic space where people feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. Warmth, insight, and an authentic relational presence are what I bring to every session. This work is not just a career; it's a calling rooted in a genuine desire to walk alongside you as you find your way back to yourself. Outside of sessions, you'll often find me reading, writing, or diving into investigative journalism. Hobbies that keep me both curious and grounded. Hiking offers a different kind of reset, one that connects me to the world in a way that carries over into how I show up for the people I work with.

From a young age, I’ve been drawn to people who don’t look, sound, or live like me. I believe the human story is one of the most powerful and inspiring elements of life; and I believe sharing our stories with others is medicine to both listener and teller. Curiosity is a big part of why I became a therapist. Glad Acres is named after the street my grandmother lived on. Her home was a safe and hospitable abode for many people to share their stories, and I seek to emulate the same in the therapy room. Outside of work, you can find me on my yoga mat, outside on a walk, deep in a craft project, or nursing a good cup of coffee. Music and shows have always been where I go to feel, process, and connect with myself and others. I've also had the opportunity to travel to Greece to work with women who survived trafficking, an experience that shaped how I understand resilience and what it means to help someone reclaim their story. I've been in therapy myself for 13 years, and I know how exhausting it can be to talk in circles; understanding why you feel something and still feeling stuck in your body. That's why I bring somatic, nervous-system-focused work like EMDR into my practice: healing isn't just intellectual, it's felt. I love working with people ready to do that inner work: a little nervous maybe, open to being gently challenged, showing up not perfectly, but consistently and with curiosity. Therapy is challenging, and I've seen its rewards in my own life, and in the lives of the people I've had the privilege to sit with. I'd be honored to walk alongside you throughout some of your journey. If any of this lands for you, I’d love to connect!

I would value the opportunity to be a part of your journey toward becoming your ideal self. I view therapy as collaborative and an opportunity to gain insight, skills, and growth. I strive to help people not only resolve their current problems but gain the confidence and skills to deal with challenges in the future. I am well-versed in tailoring empirically supported therapeutic approaches to suit the unique needs of my clients, no matter the concern. I have worked with a variety of client concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain, injury recovery, interpersonal conflict, and life transitions just to name a few. I also have specific training and a passion for working with athletes, high performers, return to sport, injury recovery/management, TBIs, and chronic pain/illnesses. With a sport and performance psychology background, I often incorporate performance components in my work as I view performance elements not only occurring in sports but all areas of our life. I am a firm believer in the importance of training the mind and body. When in balance, they are capable of incredible feats. Just as you train your body, I will help you strengthen your mind to improve your overall wellbeing and chase your dreams! I am PSYPACT certified, meaning I can meet with clients in several other states (states that are PSYPACT members) and would be a good option for those frequently traveling. I also provide psychological testing/assessment for individuals who may have ADHD, learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, mood disorders, and personality disorders. All services are offered in person, remote, or hybrid options.

I am dedicated to supporting people as they navigate through the new chapters that pregnancy and parenthood bring. I'm certified and trained through Postpartum Support International as an advocate to increase awareness of perinatal mood and anxiety symptoms. I also specialize in grief and loss, infertility, and adoption. In addition, I offer services and support to individuals and couples wanting to improve their relationships with themselves, their partners and/or their family. I specialize in working with those who are experiencing; depression, anxiety, grief, relational challenges, self-identity issues and trauma. My goal as your therapist is to provide you with an environment where you feel heard and understood. I value creating relationships with my clients and want to build a trusting space for you. I work in collaboration with you to find skills that work for you on an individual basis; actively working towards moving your life in a direction that you desire. Unlike traditional talk-therapy, our work is present-focused, where we work on identifying your values and goals, and look into how they fit into your life. It’s common to believe that you should be able to handle whatever life throws at you on your own, however having support and guidance along the way can make the learning curve much less intimidating.

In the middle of becoming someone new? I work with adolescents and adults navigating identity transitions—career pivots, new parenthood, finishing school, layoffs, or the quieter realization that the life you’ve been building no longer fits. I came to this work through my own transition after a decade in tech startups, so I understand what it’s like to question your path and grow into something not yet fully defined. I’m also a new mom, with firsthand experience of the disorientation and identity shifts that can come with early parenthood—so if you’re in that season, you won’t have to explain it from scratch. I draw from several evidence based approaches; Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). What matters more than the models themselves is how therapy feels: collaborative, structured when helpful, open-ended when needed, and grounded in approaches that are proven to support real change. Therapy works best when it feels like yours—like the conversations you’d want to be having if you had the right person to have them with. My role is to be that person, while also offering tools and frameworks that help you make sense of what’s happening, not just talk about it.

College can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. You may be navigating academic pressure, anxiety, self doubt, relationship changes, family expectations, homesickness, or uncertainty about your future. Perhaps you are used to holding everything together but are beginning to feel exhausted, stuck, or unlike yourself. You do not have to figure it all out alone. I work with college students and young adults who want to better understand themselves, manage difficult emotions, strengthen relationships, and feel more confident moving forward. I also welcome students whose stories include adoption, embryo adoption, infertility, IVF, or other complex family formation experiences. My approach is warm, relational, collaborative, and trauma informed. I use evidence based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to help you recognize unhelpful patterns, develop practical coping skills, improve communication, and navigate transitions with greater clarity and confidence. Each session is tailored to your individual needs, strengths, values, and goals. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and you do not need to arrive knowing exactly what to say. We can begin by untangling what feels overwhelming and identifying the support you need. If you are looking for a compassionate space to feel heard while developing practical tools for growth, I invite you to reach out and see whether we may be a good fit.
