CopeWell Psychiatry & Wellness
Hi, I’m Dr. Udo Chukwuocha, a doctoral-prepared psychiatric and family nurse practitioner who offers a supportive and holistic approach to mental health. I work well with college students who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, unmotivated, emotionally stuck, or experiencing sleep and focus issues. Many of my clients are adjusting to big life transitions, juggling school and personal pressures, or trying to make sense of their emotions and habits. I especially enjoy supporting students from BIPOC and immigrant communities, as well as women navigating mood changes related to hormones. If you’ve had negative experiences with mental health care before or felt misunderstood, I strive to create a space that feels inclusive, collaborative, and respectful of your unique background. My approach blends medication management with lifestyle coaching, brief supportive therapy, and integrative tools like supplements and lab testing when helpful. If you're looking for care that looks at the bigger picture—not just symptoms—I’d be glad to support you.

Hello my name is Billie. Like so many people I grew up in a conservative town that made it clear that they saw Queerness as "evil" and "destroying the family." I started Texas Queer Counseling to allow people the space to figure out who they are, away from the expectations society places on us. As a transwoman I know the state of Texas has is not a safe place to live. It is also important to find the joy of being Queer. Don't be as miserable as the people trying to criminalize our lives. I offer a complimentary 30 minute session.

You feel you can't make relationships work. Or you don't feel connected to anyone; nobody understands you. Maybe you feel exhausted because there is always something to deal with and fix, and you feel so much responsibility for making things work -for getting things right. Maybe you're feeling a lot of panic and anxiety, and you don't know exactly why, but you can't relax. Your mind is always racing. There's little enjoyment in your life. Everything feels tedious. Maybe you're even thinking that you can't win. This will never end. You have done everything you can think of, and everything you are supposed to do, and it just doesn't work, no matter how hard you try. Hopefully, now, you are refusing to give up, but refusing to go another minute like this, and willing to reach out for help with someone who knows what you are going through. There is a way out, and you do not have to do it alone. With personal experience and training, I will be by your side to help you make the changes you need to feel safe, supported, and more in control. If any of this sounds like your experience, and you're ready to commit to our work together, please contact me and we can get started right away.

College can feel overwhelming. Many of the students I work with are dealing with anxiety, academic pressure, burnout, relationship stress, or uncertainty about their future. I work best with students who feel stuck, overthinking everything, or constantly stressed but still trying to hold it all together. Whether you’re struggling with motivation, confidence, major decisions, or the pressure to figure out your direction, therapy can help you regain clarity and control. My approach is practical, supportive, and focused on real-life tools you can use right away. We’ll work together to manage anxiety, improve coping skills, and create a clear path forward. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a school counselor helping students navigate academic stress, mental health challenges, and major life decisions. I also have experience working with student veterans and individuals adjusting to major life transitions. If you’re looking for a therapist who is easy to talk to and focused on real progress, I’d be glad to connect. Insurance is accepted through Headway and SonderMind. Please contact me to verify your specific plan and coverage.

CHAD STARRAK
You aren't broken or damaged, you're a hero who needs help on their quest. I specialize in working with teens and adults who struggle with anxiety, grief, chronic pain, and performance challenges. I help by integrating EMDR, Internal Family Systems, narrative, and strength-based therapies into a collaborative roadmap. In our first sessions, you can expect a thorough assessment, introduction to trauma-focused techniques like EMDR, and co-creation of a safe, strengths-focused environment. My practice is unique because I frame therapy as your hero’s journey, empowering you to harness resilience with evidence-based interventions. I’m Chad Starrak, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Questline Counseling. I specialize in trauma-informed therapy and EMDR, helping clients navigate anxiety, life transitions, burnout, and unresolved trauma. Whether you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change, therapy offers a space to rediscover your inner clarity and direction. Each session opens a doorway—an invitation to journey inward, where forgotten truths and hidden strength reside. This isn’t a path to fix what’s broken, but to remember what’s sacred. Together, we’ll listen beneath the surface and follow the threads that lead you home to yourself.

You’ve worked hard to get where you are. You’re successful, capable, and admired — yet inside you might feel anxious, overwhelmed, or like you’re barely holding it together. I often work with high-functioning students, student athletes, graduate students and new graduates and professionals who look put together on the outside but struggle with self-doubt, hidden stress, and emotions that feel out of control. You may be tired of carrying it all alone or feel like something has to change but don’t know where to start. I provide a grounded, supportive space where your experience is taken seriously and your goals matter. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that keep you feeling stuck and develop practical, personalized strategies that help you feel more confident, centered, and in charge of your life again. I help you strengthen internal resilience, deepen self-awareness, and build habits that align with the person you want to be. Many clients find greater clarity, calm, and self-trust as they learn to respond to life rather than just react. You can expect honest conversation, real support, and tools that actually work — so you can step into your strengths, lead with intention, and feel more fulfilled both personally and professionally.

My goal is to help clients who have trauma, specifically medical trauma, manage their symptoms and learn how to navigate life again! I am most interested in helping people connect to their mind and body again, so they truly feel like they are living in their bodies and being present. Therapy is a collaborative process, so there is a level of trust that must go into each client and each session. My areas of interest as a counselor are trauma-focused, veterans, medical trauma, depression/anxiety, substance use, and sexual assault survivors.

Welcome! My name is "Dr. Ed." I'm a Ph.D.-Diplomate in Clinical Social Work from the University of Houston and Governors State. In our multicultural world, therapy is a safe place to respect your values and honor your strengths! √ I'm 4.6 rated with 60+ reviews on HealthGrades, United Health, Aetna and Cigna. My treatment philosophy is built on respect and appreciation of the dignity for each person I work with. Let me emphasize this one more time, YOU don't have to settle for a poor self-image from negative experiences nor settle with poor relationships with your family, spouse, kids and yourself. Let's figure it out..together.. My therapy specialty is working with adults, couples, families, and pre-teens who are dealing with feelings of rejection, grief, and situation anxiousness-including balancing family and work-life stressors. I greatly appreciate listening to the adult male voice in relationships and families. Learning ways to bridge the gap in communication styles between men and women, parents and children, is important work! Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a core faculty member for nine years at Capella University-graduate and doctoral programs in Social Work and Public Service Leadership. Outside of work, Dr. Ed enjoys traveling to Barbados, Cancun, Houston Rodeo, is active in the KAY fraternity, and is an Astros and Cubs fan. As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and Texas and a Licensed Addiction Counselor in Colorado I have made the commitment to help others as they face adversity so as to develop a loving and compassionate relationship with themselves. I bring a wealth of experience and specialized training in addictions and mental health to my practice and there is one common theme I have noticed throughout my career, which is our self-talk. We are our own worst enemies, and this wreaks havoc on our self-esteem. My therapeutic approach is person centered, non-judgmental, and collaborative. I tailor my counseling to each individual client and will use several interventions in practice. I am well versed in CBT, DBT, and MI. I also have a background utilizing Positive Psychology, SFBT, and Crisis Intervention. I invite you to a different therapeutic experience where I'll meet you where you are at. By providing a safe and supportive environment, my goal is to provide a holistic and person-centered therapeutic experience where you become empowered to build resilience, achieve personal growth, and become better equipped to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
