Our first priority is to listen and understand designing the counseling process around our client. From the beginning of the counseling process, there is much emphasis on forming a strong relationship. We believe the foundation of the success of counseling is based on the creation of a relationship in which clients can feel comfortable, can be understood, and can trust. FREE 15 MINUTE PHONE CONSULTATION! The phone consultation is not therapy; however, this is an opportunity for you to speak with an experienced therapist to determine if receiving therapy or life coaching is a good fit for you or your family member.

I’ve experienced my own struggles with self-esteem, mental health, & relationship issues. These experiences have shaped me into a therapist who is empathetic, practical, & down-to-earth. I know the path to self-improvement & rebuilding your relationships can be challenging. Let me help you understand yourself and/or your partner more by identifying your "WHY", meaning why you think, behave, and react the way you do based off of attachment, communication styles, past relationships, etc. Don't be afraid to take a chance on you and/or your partner. Let's create those meaningful changes and new memories together.

Ashley Rawls
I work with individuals dealing with life transitions, medical related issues, mood and affective disorders, and marriage, parenting or family issues. I also have my Yoga Teacher Training Certification as well as completing my certifications in Maternal Mental Health and ADHD. My approach to counseling places an emphasis on the relationship between the client and counselor and the promotion of growth. When needed, I use a variety of structured and non-structured interventions to best meet the needs of the client. I utilize empirically supported techniques, including cognitive and behavioral interventions, that focus on the ways in which individuals think about and respond to events. These interventions allow clients to restructure their thinking, process events and modify behaviors in more adaptive ways. I use a narrative and solution focused approach to collaboratively work with clients to identify successful past solutions to problems and how these strengths can be implemented in future situations. Small changes in the way clients view themselves and their own abilities to solve problems will encourage solution-oriented patterns to reach future goals.

Throughout most of our culture boys are not given much opportunity to explore their inner worlds, identify and express emotions or encouraged to build supportive and robust social networks. As these boys become men it leaves them lacking skills to know when and how to reach out for support. This is where I come in. I help guide young men through life's challenges by teaching skills that will help them in all facets of their life. Tired of feeling stuck, alone and not knowing how or what to change. Book your free consult through my website and let's see if working together is the best next step for you. No need to go it alone anymore.
