Immediate availability! I specialize in women’s issues, relationship challenges, and supporting individuals and families impacted by autism or special needs. As a former special education teacher, a sibling of brothers with special needs, and a Christian, I bring both professional and personal insight. Using approaches like CBT, Gottman Methods, and EFT, I walk alongside you as you build healthier relationships and learn how reconnect with yourself and others. I practice through a HIPPA compliant Telehealth platform, which eliminates the need to find childcare and allows you to pursue counseling from the comfort of your own home. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing life’s challenges, including relationship issues, autism, women’s issues, OCD, chronic illness, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also specialize in parent coaching, ADHD, military families, and pre-marital and marriage counseling. My counseling approach focuses on building a genuine, trusting relationship with you, as that’s key to effective healing. I’m also happy to incorporate faith if it’s important to you. If you think we might be a good fit, I’d love to connect! In my free time, I enjoy being outside, a good cup of coffee, serving at church, baking, and listening to music.

A lot of the students I work with are used to being the “put together” one. The responsible one. The one who pushes through. But behind the scenes, they’re exhausted. Many are dealing with complicated relationships with food, body image, or perfectionism while also navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, or chronic illness. From the outside it might look like they’re managing fine, but internally it can feel like a constant battle with their own mind or body. A lot of my clients are thoughtful and self-aware, but tired of feeling stuck in the same patterns or feeling like they’re constantly fighting themselves. In therapy with me, the goal isn’t to shame or rush you into change. Instead, we slow things down and get curious about what your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are actually trying to communicate. From there, we work on building coping tools, creating more flexibility in patterns that feel rigid or overwhelming, and rebuilding trust with your body. You don’t have to come in with everything figured out. Many of my clients start therapy feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or even skeptical — and that’s completely okay. Therapy is just a space where you can show up honestly and start making sense of things at your own pace.

Welcome! We help people help themselves to live a more full and whole life, void of medicating and suffering in isolation. We meet our clients where they are and invite them to learn and create what recovery means to them. We do this be holding up a mirror and walking with our clients rather than telling them what they should do. We also help clients connect. Isolation is such a painful symptom of anxiety, depression and medicating. 'Together we can do what we could never do alone' is what we practice at the Relationship Enrichment Center. Reach out, and let us support you.

Do you have a hard time understanding and articulating your feelings? Do you feel stuck in patterns or relationships that are no longer serving you? My focus is supporting individuals and couples in moving away from beliefs and behaviors that are holding them back and toward the life they want to live. Working together via online therapy, we’ll identify the patterns, thoughts and behaviors that are keeping you stuck. Clients describe my style as calm, holistic, professional and compassionate. I offer a wide range of grounding, integrating and mindfulness practices in our sessions and use a body-based approach when appropriate, helping clients explore how various bodily sensations are linked to their emotional experience. I understand the pain and challenges of outdated beliefs and behaviors - and I know that it doesn’t have to be that way. I believe therapy provides us with the support, guidance and tools to navigate away from pain and suffering and toward new, more satisfying ways of being. *Test anxiety? *Speaking and presentations seem impossible? *Looking for finally getting underneath and controlling your anxiety? ----Want to get underneath your feeling of angst, stress and uneasiness? I teach ways to reset and grow a nervous system that is able to find calm and relax even with time deadlines and performances. I help you create new habits that foster a positive, calm, productivity mindset. I use cutting-edge modern scientifically proven methods, along with, ancient powerful self-care methods that help people re-program sensitive nervous systems. I started her career as a Cognitive Behavioral therapist and over the last 25 years learned powerful methods to help clients make powerful changes on the moment. Many people I work with say the methods I teach seem too simple to work. I have found when people begin to use them regularly, they notice that other areas of their life begin to change as well. My focus is helping clients with Profoundly Simple selfcare that helps people thrive. Clients who see results commit to 5-10 minutes of using the skills we use in sessions in their everyday lives. This way they reset their baseline levels of tension and increase energy, cakm, and focus. I also have Calm and Centered Success groups that begin in September and January for applying skills in a more community setting with support and encouragement from others to make lastng life changes. If interested, text me, and we can set up a time to chat for free on the phone for about 15 min 508-812-8782. I am in-network for Aetna, Blue Cross of NC, and some Optum United Healthcare Plans. For others, I have a sliding scale to help make sessions work for you.
