Who helps you unravel the mystery behind your concerns you've never been able to verbalize? Who hears what you say to reflect a treatment and create a space for you to heal, feel safe, and grow into the person you’ve always wished to be? Who sees your lived experience as invaluable as their own, but also brings their domestically and internationally recognized expertise and insight in mental health care? Who brings over a decade of combined counseling, research, and lived experience understanding the unique stressors of college and graduate school? If so, Solidarity Mental Health LLC is for you. My therapeutic treatments are adapted to each individual patient, as no two people are the same. I integrate my academic and mental health training from Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and the University of Southern California, my mental health work globally including Boston, Peru, Japan, Switzerland, and the Kingdom of Lesotho, my experience as a first-generation immigrant, first in my family to go to college and graduate school, treating refugees throughout the U.S., and working, navigating, coping, and thriving in some of the most difficult academic environments in the world. What results are a balanced, person-centered and empathy driven treatment based on unique insights from a 16+ year mental health career treating a mosaic of individuals from 15+ countries globally and diverse urban and rural areas throughout the United States. I have unique insights on not only how you as a college or graduate student can survive and thrive in your current environment, but also how transition to your ideal next step and self after graduation. I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner providing individual psychotherapy and psychiatric medication management to adults age 18+ in Massachusetts via telehealth, and offer a FREE 10-minute phone consultation to determine if we are a good fit for each other. Inverted Dawn Counseling
Sometimes we don’t have anyway of knowing what we’ve been through until it’s over. Recognizing things that were harmful to us sometimes cannot happen until we are no longer in survival mode. Dealing with overwhelming thoughts, depression, anxiety, or the overwhelming emotions that can come in waves is a significant thing to have to handle. This can lead to people struggling to handle life, and even consider ending it. At Inverted Dawn, we specifically work with people who’ve reached that point where things have gotten so bad, nothing seems to make sense anymore. What we offer is a supportive, non-judgmental approach to help explore where you are at, how you’ve been coping with it, and what a tomorrow that is worth living for would truly look like.

Erin Joudrey, LLC
I am a licensed clinical social worker providing individual counseling services to individuals ages eighteen and older. Those who come to me are often seeking relief from the challenges of PTSD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, aging, parenting and caregiving, grief and those in or on their journey to recovery. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) which is an evidence based treatment that helps individuals heal from symptoms and emotional distress that are a result of disturbing life events. EMDR is commonly used in the treatment of traumatic memories and PTSD. My practice offers a welcoming and inclusive space where you can safely begin to look at the issues most important to you. Providing guidance on your path to greater stability and healing is my goal. For many, the first and most difficult step is reaching out for help. Seeking support for your life's challenges shows great strength and commitment to yourself and your loved ones. I look forward to hearing from you!
Jessica Matthews
I am passionate about working with college students 18 and older that are struggling with painful life experiences that affect their mental and physical health. I provide a safe, accepting environment, using evidence-based modalities for change, and support my clients in the process of healing and becoming the best versions of themselves. My clients are resilient- however, having to be "strong" and in survival mode all the time is exhausting, and it's okay to let your guard down with me. I aim to support my clients in not only surviving, but thriving. My clients achieve a healthier relationship with themselves, others, and the world around them.

Meg Higgins
You are sitting in therapy watching your therapist's lips move while she tells you for the fourth time that her cousin is gay and just got a “very butch” haircut. You can’t help thinking, “She just doesn’t get it.” He misgenders you, or forgets your partner’s pronouns, she pulls out Food and Mood, and he talks about how apple cider vinegar might be the solution to all your problems. She hasn't lived in a fat body. He hasn’t experienced homophobia or heterosexism from the inside. What initially seemed like a small hill to climb in your relationship has started to feel like a mountain. Maybe she tells you your black top is so slimming. Maybe once he referred to queer people as ‘homosexuals.’ Maybe, when you report your experiences of oppression, she tells you that the other party probably meant well and just wanted you to be healthier or have it easier in the world. You don’t trust him with your whole self, how can you? You’ve tried so many therapists in the past and she’s not that bad, is she? You continue to hope that therapy with a therapist who doesn’t quite get it will be enough to meet your needs. It’s not enough. You deserve a therapist who understands your lived experiences. You deserve a therapist who knows what it’s like to have your doctor prescribe weight loss to treat arthritis in your wrists, and who can truly hear it when you tell them about your experience with your homophobic aunt at Thanksgiving. You deserve a therapist who approaches the world with a solid intersectional anti-oppression framework that sees society, rather than some flaw in you, as the central piece of your problem. I can be that therapist. I’m fat, I’m queer, I have an intersectional lens, and I want to dismantle systems of oppression one client session at a time.
