As someone with both professional and lived experience, I understand how important it is to feel like someone truly gets you. Together we’ll explore triggers for anxiety and depression and create strategies that will help you improve your overall quality of life.

Coreetha Entzminger
Hi, I’m Coreetha Entzminger, a Registered Psychological Associate with a deep commitment to supporting mental health and wellness for children, families, and individuals from all walks of life. Over the past ten years, I’ve worked as a crisis counselor and child advocate in both nonprofit and private practice settings, helping people navigate everything from trauma and anxiety to life transitions and stress. I’ve always been drawn to this work because I believe in the power of healing, growth, and connection—and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they work toward positive change. In addition to my clinical work, I’m involved in several other areas that support mental health awareness and education. I’m a member of the American Psychological Association’s Division 53, which focuses on clinical child and adolescent psychology, and I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to research for both federal and county-level institutions in Washington, D.C. I also teach as an adjunct professor in the psychology department at Myrtle Beach College, where I create course content for undergraduate students. Sharing knowledge and helping others grow—whether in the classroom or in a community workshop—is a big part of who I am. Academically, I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Montclair State University in New Jersey and a Master’s in Psychology from Arizona State University. I also hold certifications in child advocacy and applied behavior analysis, and I’m currently working toward my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) at California Southern University. When I work with clients, I take a collaborative and compassionate approach. Therapy with me is very much a partnership—we work together to understand what’s going on, where you want to go, and how we can get there. I specialize in treating anxiety, trauma, special needs, stress, and major life transitions, and I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients better understand how their thoughts and emotions impact behavior. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, affirming, and stigma-free, where you feel supported and empowered to explore, heal, and grow. In our first session, I’ll take time to really get to know you and your story. We’ll talk about your background, what’s bringing you to therapy, and any patterns or experiences that might be influencing your current challenges. From there, we’ll shape each session around your needs and goals, always moving at a pace that feels right for you. I aim to strike a balance between being supportive and gently challenging—because sometimes a little push is what we need to move forward. If you’re thinking about therapy, know that you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. I’d be honored to support you on your journey.

About My Practice College can be an exciting time, but it can also bring a lot of pressure - academically, socially, personally, and emotionally. You may be doing well on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next. I’m a licensed psychotherapist who works with young adults navigating stress, anxiety, relationships, self-confidence, transitions, and the pressure to succeed. My approach combines psychotherapy, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and neuroscience-informed strategies to help you better understand yourself and create meaningful change. Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and judgment-free. You don’t have to wait until things feel unmanageable to reach out. Whether you're struggling with a specific challenge or simply know that something needs to shift, therapy can be a space to slow down, gain perspective, and figure out what you need. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, emotionally resilient, and able to move through college and into adulthood in a way that feels genuinely like your own.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience working with transitional-age youth and adults adjusting to significant life transitions such as leaving home, attending college, building careers, beginning or ending relationships, parenthood, empty nest, and retirement. Much of my training has been in contemporary psychodynamic theory, relational theory and strength-based models. For over seven years, I worked in a Bay Area high school with high-risk youth, which gave me a deep understanding of how the experiences of adolescents impact our lives and shape our identity. I also have over 8 years of experience working with law students as they navigate law school, the bar exam, and the first few years of their careers. I use an integrated approach to best meet the needs of each individual client. I aim to create a safe and supportive environment for clients to make positive and lasting change.

I meet clients virtually to quiet negative self-talk and build resilience in their nervous systems using a patent pending somatic processing tool. With a stronger nervous system, it’s easier to not be overwhelmed, in fact your baseline becomes calm, less triggered, and more balanced. Clients routinely report resolution of panic attacks; resolving the underlying causes of the negative self talk; resolving the root causes of anxiety, depression, rage, and numbness; having better relationships; and understanding their emotions better. This transformative work addresses the nonverbal impact of stressful/traumatic experiences including feelings, sensations, emotions, muscle tension, numbness and dissociation; the areas where talking is not effective. Benefits typically begin with the first session. We use CBD, medical cannabis, or ketamine assisted virtual sessions to activate brain areas that facilitate safely processing emotions, and make new brain cell connections (associated with learning and working around blocks) among many other benefits. Many patients complain about the emotional numbness and other symptoms caused by their psych medications. Because I am a medical doctor, as patients improve I am able to help wean them off of their meds when appropriate. Insurance is not accepted, but sliding scale payments are. We all have the capacity for healing through self-discovery, self-awareness, and community. My role is to ease clients into a journey of healing, becoming more authentic in their creative works and relationships, and challenging inner dialogue that does not serve them by finding compassion and empathy for themselves. I engage my clients by creating a safe space where we can collaboratively work on developing a more intimate relationship with the "inner self." I'm a warm, intuitive, empathetic, and connected therapist who can be a witness to your journey. I primarily work from anti-racist, trauma-informed, attachment and somatic modes of therapy paying close attention to clients’ varying identities, intersection of these identities, and understanding their experience from a socio-cultural perspective. Mind-body connections, ancestral wisdom, social justice and multiculturalism are central to my approach. My passion and experience lies in working with young adults, artists and creatives, individuals from the BIPOC and LGBTQIA community, women, and partners engaging in family planning. I have significant experience in guiding individuals seeking gender confirming treatment, navigating medical systems, and exploring gender and sexual orientation identity.

I’m an Associate Clinical Social Worker currently practicing in Los Angeles. I am able to work with clients in California and Connecticut. I have had the privilege of working with teens, adults, parents and families who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and beyond. My heart lies in providing care that's not just effective, but deeply compassionate. As a mother of two and experience working in residential treatment for adolescents, I have experienced firsthand the challenges that parents face from pregnancy, toddlerhood, and adolescence. My priority is to create a safe space for exploration and growth by making you feel seen, heard, and understood. Through the use of empathy, non-judgement, compassion, and curiosity, I support my clients in exploring challenges, patterns, and transitions in their lives allowing them to gain a deeper awareness of who they are and who they strive to be. Collaboratively identifying goals with my clients allows for a personalized approach tailored to their unique needs and circumstances. Together we will explore and address underlying sources of distress, practicing mindfulness and self-compassion, and fostering healthy connections and boundaries in relationships. I am passionate about empowering my clients to take proactive steps toward enhancing their well-being and achieving greater fulfillment in their lives.
