Breathe In Balance Therapy
Hi! My name is Kelly Kolyer, LCSW-C and I provide virtual therapy through my practice Breathe In Balance Therapy. I grew up and attended graduate school in Maryland and have many years of experience working with young adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, burned out, stuck, or unsure of themselves as they navigate school, relationships, family expectations, identity, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are used to holding a lot together on the outside, while internally struggling with anxiety, depression, past experiences, ADHD, or difficulty balancing everything expected of them.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I help clients better understand what is contributing to how they feel, develop strategies that actually work for them, and build greater confidence in managing challenging times or relationships. I use a range of evidence based treatment approaches including trauma-informed modalities, CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, ACT, and EMDR.
I am licensed in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts and provide culturally competent, LQBTQ+ and neuro-affirming care. I know having a therapist you trust and connect with is so important so I offer a free 15 minute consultation to answer any questions you have and to see if we'd be a good fit. I'd love to help provide support while you navigate life's next steps.
